Dave Cooper's first volume is an interesting and fact filled book that chronicles the history of the regular and volunteer regiments of Staffordshire over the past 300 years.This first volume, was the first detailed book to be written covering all the imperial regiments raised within the County filling a significant gap.
Years of research went into the compilation of this first volume resulting in a comprehensive account of the evolution of the various Staffordshire Regiments.
The first volume also gives details of the numerous actions and campaigns that are illustrated by many photographs including uniforms, equipment, weaponry and ephemera.
Dave Cooper's Volume II, 1705 - 1919 'The Scrapbook' is a predominantly visual celebration of the Staffordshire regiments, based on photographs and old illustrations, to celebrate the Tercentenary in 2005 and is foreworded by His Royal Highness The Duke of York (Prince Andrew).
